I came across this book some time ago on Audible.com where I believe it was free so I figured I'd give it a try. It also fit in nicely with the fact that I am doing a "Reading the Alphabet" challenge and was in search for an "H".I am very glad I stuck with this one. At the beginning I almost gave up on it just due to the narrator's voice. The thick British accent was hard to understand at first and so I found it difficult to get into the book. Once I did however I found I learned to understand the narrator much more easily and quite enjoyed the story as it progressed. I do however wish things at the end had been explained more, e.g. the culprit explaining how they pulled everything off and their personal account for why they did it. Also there were several clues that seemed to be fairly important at one time or another and then they were never spoken of again. There were also a few times I wanted to throttle one character or another, but otherwise it was a pretty decent read/listen that also made me laugh out loud along side the characters.I must however commend the narrator for being able to put on so many different styles and accents of speech, and for keeping them all straight and fairly consistent. My favourite was Tristrum with his particular speech impediment as well as Darcy's irish lilt.
